Unlimited Friends Association for Social Development UFA received a delegation from the Italian organization “Vento Di Terra,” led by Ms. Barbra Archetti, the president of the organization, and Eng-Mohamed Miliha, the Focal point of the Gaza Strip within the UFA education building. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance collaborative efforts in supporting education sectors and providing psychological and social support for children and youth in the Al-Zawayda area of the Middle governorate in the Gaza Strip. The meeting took place at the educational center affiliated with the UFA, with the participation of the Programs and Projects Unit within the Association. During the meeting, the challenges faced by communities in times of emergencies were discussed and ideas were exchanged, particularly in the fields of education and psychological support. The importance of providing educational opportunities for children and youth under difficult circumstances was emphasized, as well as providing them with psychological support to overcome the mental and social challenges they are facing. Ms. Barbra expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the UFA in providing support to the local community. She praised their initiatives in the fields of education and psychological support. Eng Mohamed Maliha expressed the readiness of the Vento Di Terra organization to provide ongoing support and cooperation with the society to maximize its positive impact on the community. An agreement was reached during the meeting to develop a joint action plan aimed at providing sustainable educational opportunities and offering psychological and social support for children and youth in the Al-Zawayda area. This will involve the exchange of resources and expertise between society and Vento Di Terra, with the goal of enhancing educational quality and promoting resilience and continuous improvement. At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their optimism about the promising outcomes of this partnership and their determination to exert every possible effort to achieve sustainable improvements in the education and social support sectors in the Gaza Strip.
